Last updated: July 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website sealinerspk.com and the customs clearance and freight forwarding services provided by Sea Liners, a licensed Customs House Agent and Shipping Agent operating from Suite 904, Uni Plaza, Napier Road, Karachi, Pakistan ("Sea Liners", "we", "us", or "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Services
Sea Liners provides customs clearance, sea and air freight forwarding, warehousing, packing, and related logistics services for importers and exporters in Pakistan. All services are subject to availability, regulatory requirements, and the terms of our written service agreement or quote acceptance.
Quotes and pricing
Quotes provided by Sea Liners are valid for the period stated in the quote or, if not stated, for 14 days from the date of issue. Our agency fees are separate from government duties, taxes, port charges, and third-party costs, which are billed at actual cost unless otherwise agreed in writing. Acceptance of a quote constitutes agreement to our fees for the scope described.
Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipment information, commercial documents, and regulatory permits required for clearance. Sea Liners is not liable for delays or additional costs arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent documentation provided by you or your suppliers.
Customs and regulatory compliance
Sea Liners acts as your licensed agent for customs purposes. You remain ultimately responsible for the accuracy of declarations filed on your behalf. We will file declarations based on documents and instructions you provide. Penalties arising from misdeclaration may be your responsibility unless caused by our negligence.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Pakistani law, Sea Liners' liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the agency fees paid for the specific consignment giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages including lost profits, missed sailings, or production delays except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Cargo loss or damage
Sea Liners' liability for cargo loss or damage during forwarding is governed by applicable carrier conventions and Pakistani law. We recommend clients maintain adequate cargo insurance. We can assist with insurance arrangements upon request.
Payment terms
Payment terms are as agreed in your quote or service agreement. Sea Liners may withhold release of cargo or documents until outstanding fees and disbursements are settled. Late payment may incur administrative charges as communicated at the time of invoicing.
